November 2013 Thank-a-thonA group of 12 students gathered on Tuesday, Nov. 19, to write thank you notes to Law School alumni and friends as part of the autumn Thank-a-thon.
The students wrote nearly 400 notes thanking donors for their contributions to Duke Law.
“It’s so easy to get incredibly focused on what you’re doing here at the Law School and your own betterment and advancement,” said Ruben Henriquez. “I think it is important to remember that there are other people that are very integral in helping you succeed at Duke, making it the special place that is it. It’s important to take the time to thank these people.”
Thank-a-thon team leaders were Ruben Henriquez, Tara McGrath, and Josh Aronoff. Volunteers included Brandi Ripp, Anna Orsini, Sandra Yoo, Stephanie Laboy, Nick Atallah, Tyler Warner, Sara Campbell, Jana Kovich, and John Gerl.
