Dr. Adam Brown, Professor in the Department of Psychology at Sarah Lawrence College and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Research Program in the Department of Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine, will give a lecture titled "Identifying and Managing Trauma, Loss and Resilience." This event will focus on stress, trauma, vicarious trauma, and resilience among individuals working in the human rights context and the impact of human rights work on mental health. Co-sponsored by the International Human Rights ClinicCenter for International and Comparative LawInternational Law Society, Human Rights Law Society, Duke Human Rights Center at the Kenan Institute for Ethics, and the Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute. Lunch will be provided.
