Guantanamo. Age-related employment discrimination. Capital punishment. All of these are provocative subjects and all are topics to be discussed on Monday, October 1, 2007, when a Duke Law faculty panel previews some of the most important cases on the upcoming Supreme Court docket.

The Court, as always, has a wide-ranging spectrum of cases to hear this term and Professors Curtis Bradley, James Coleman, Catherine Fisk, and Neil Siegel aim to provide insight to these controversial issues along with other matters before the Court such as voting rights and criminal procedure.

Sponsored by the Program in Public Law, the panel will begin at 12:15 p.m. in Room 3041 at the Duke Law School and is open to the public. A light lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis.

The event will also be available via live webcast at http://www.law.duke.edu/webcast/.
