All are invited to join the Rethinking Regulation Program at the Kenan Institute for Ethics to celebrate the launch of the new book: Fraud: An American History from Barnum to Madoff (Princeton University Press, 2017) by Edward J. Balleisen, Vice Provost for Interdisciplinary Studies at Duke University. Balleisen will discuss the book with Sam Buell, the Bernard M. Fishman Professor of Law at Duke University, followed by Q&A with the audience, a book signing, and a reception. The event is from 5:30 to 7:00pm, Tuesday, April 18, in the Thomas Reading Room at Lilly Library on East Campus. Cosponsored by the Duke Department of History.
