Global Financial Markets Center

Duke Law’s Global Financial Markets Center promotes the interdisciplinary study and discussion of global financial markets and financial regulation. The Center sponsors symposia and scholarship, works collaboratively with researchers and industry leaders, and prepares students for legal careers in business and law, in both the private and public sector.

  • Rachel Brewster
    Jeffrey and Bettysue Hughes Professor of Law

    Brewster’s scholarly research and teaching focus on the areas of international economic law and international relations theory.  She came to Duke Law in July 2012 from Harvard University where she was an assistant professor of law and affiliate faculty member of The Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. Brewster serves as co-director of Duke’s Center for International and Comparative Law.
